Satta Matka Glossary
Every term below is defined by what you can see on a Mama567 chart page — the three-digit open and close panas, the two-digit jodi formed from their anks, and the week grid that holds them. Nothing here is betting advice; the words simply describe how results are published. Satta matka is illegal in most Indian states and this site is for readers aged 18 or over.
Market
Also written: game
A named result stream with its own open time, close time and draw days. Kalyan, Milan Day and Rajdhani Night are markets. Each market publishes one open result and one close result per active day.
Open
The first declaration of a market's day. On a pana chart the open is the top three-digit number in a cell.
Close
The second declaration of a market's day, drawn after the close-bid cut-off. On a pana chart the close is the bottom three-digit number in a cell.
Pana
Also written: panna, panel, patti
A three-digit declared number, such as 346 or 128. A pana chart records the open pana and close pana for every active day, arranged in weeks.
Jodi
Also written: yodi, pair
The two-digit number formed by reducing each pana to its ank — the last digit of its digit sum — and writing the open ank first. If a day declares 346 and 128, the anks are 3 (3+4+6=13) and 1 (1+2+8=11), so the jodi is 31. A jodi chart shows one two-digit pair per cell.
Ank
Also written: single digit
A single digit. The ank of a pana is the last digit of its digit sum: 346 sums to 13, so its ank is 3. Open and close anks together form the day's jodi. The game rates list prices an ank bet under the name Single Digit.
Single pana
Also written: single patti
A three-digit pana in which all three digits are different, such as 346. The game rates list prices it as Single Patti and the app's own screens label it Single Pana.
Double pana
Also written: double patti
A three-digit pana in which exactly two digits repeat, such as 336. The game rates list prices it as Double Patti and the app's own screens label it Double Pana.
Triple pana
Also written: triplet, triple patti
A three-digit pana in which all three digits are the same, such as 333. These are shown in red on our charts.
Red pana
The chart convention of printing a pana in red when any digit repeats (doubles and triples). Red is a reading aid only — it carries no meaning about likelihood.
Sangam
A pairing of two numbers from one declared line, not a number a market declares on its own. Half sangam joins a pana with the ank of the opposite side (four digits); full sangam joins the open pana with the close pana (six digits). Both are derived from the open-jodi-close line. Listed here because the terms appear on old charts and in guides — Mama567 does not accept bets of any kind.
Week grid
The layout of our charts: one row per week starting Monday, one column per day. A market that does not declare on a given day shows a placeholder (***) in that column.
Placeholder
The *** (pana) or ** (jodi) printed when no result was declared for that day — either the market was closed or no result was sourced. It is not a missing value on our side; the market simply did not declare.
As of date
The date of the newest declared result a chart page actually holds, printed under the headline. Because charts are rebuilt on a schedule, this date can lag the current day, and it is the honest indicator of freshness.
