Two results a day
Most matka markets declare twice: an open result earlier in the session and a close result later. Each declaration is a three-digit pana, and each pana reduces to a single digit (its ank).
How open and close become a jodi
Take the open pana's single and the close pana's single, place them side by side, and you have the day's jodi. For example, if the open pana reduces to 6 and the close pana reduces to 4, the jodi is 64. This is why a full result line looks like openPana – jodi – closePana.
What the timings mean
Every market has an open bid time and a close bid time. These are the cut-off points before each declaration. On Mama567 you will see them on each market card, labelled Open Bids and Close Bids. Day markets sit earlier in the clock; night markets run later into the evening.
Why a result shows asterisks
Before a declaration happens, the slot is shown as ***. Once the market declares and the result is verified, the asterisks are replaced with the actual numbers. That is why checking back around a market's timing is the moment the chart updates.
